“When will Weenect be on the Apple Watch?”
This question comes up quite often, but it is important for our technical team to properly prioritise their tasks and guarantee a perfectly functional app before thinking about porting it to other devices. With the release of the Weenect XS, our team is very busy ensuring the best possible quality of the product. Nevertheless, the adaptation of the app for Apple Watch is noted in our projects and will surely see the light of day in the near future.
Allow us to introduce you to Anne-Sophie and her cat Bundle. Bundle was taken in by Anne-Sophie when she was barely 3 weeks old. She had been abandoned in a container and was very fragile. Anne-Sophie took care of her with a lot of love and, when Bundle was 6 months old, she started wanting to go outside. So her new family decided to buy her a Weenect GPS tracker so they could check where Bundle was going and make sure she was never lost.
If you're a fan of our tracker and interested in providing a testimonial on video, please get in touch with us at family@weenect.com. We'll then share your feedback in a future edition of Weenect Insiders!
This section reveals the daily life of Weenect and the life of our employees through reports on the fairs in which we participate, our team buildings, reports on the various departments of the company, employee interviews and any significant news about our products.
We introduced it to you in the November Insiders, now here are the images of the Weenect XS in action!
This brand new 4G tracker made in Weenect will be available in stores from 1 March 2023 in France, Belgium and the Netherlands, before arriving online and in the rest of Europe on 1 May 1 2023. The whole team has worked hard to bring you this new GPS which is still the smallest on the market (28g with a dimension of 6.05 cm x 2.45 cm x 1.5 cm) while having some great new features such as the torch option that will allow you to find your pet (really) anywhere, even at night!
Watch our presentation video and get ready for this technological little gem that will revolutionise the world of animal safety!
There are around forty people working hard behind the scenes at Weenect to provide you with the best service possible. In this episode, Letizia Cavagnini presents the quality department of Weenect that aims to perfect our tracker so that it fully meets your expectations.
Letizia tells us about her daily life within the company and explains the work process that she rigorously follows in order to constantly improve your user experience.
In this section, we take you to meet professionals from the world of pets and animals through field reports or via interviews with specialist experts such as veterinarians, animal trainers and pet store personnel. We also share useful content with you, such as special DIY projects and guides on topics relating to pets and animals.
Before the very first Weenect tracker was put on the market 10 years ago, it went through a battery of tests carried out by the Syndicat National des Vétérinaires d'Exercice Libéral - SNVEL (National Union of Practising Veterinarians). The purpose of these tests was to verify that the GPS lived up to its promise and that it did not represent a danger to the animal.
So we went to interview Sandrine Lyonnet, Wildlife Activity Manager at SNVEL, to find out more about the conclusions of their tests, and to provide you professional feedback on our tracker.
